Pitbull is going above and beyond to help the people of Puerto Rico as they face the effects of Hurricane Maria. Puerto Rico Congresswoman Jenniffer González tweeted that the Pop star recently lent his own private plane to move cancer patients from Puerto Rico to the United States to receive their chemotherapy. In a statement to the New York Daily News, Pitbull said, “Thank God we’re blessed to help. Just doing my part.”
Katy Perry: Will You Be My Witness? will air on YouTube Red next month, taking fans behind the scenes of her live stream event Witness World Wide earlier this year. Premiering on October 4, the documentary special will include never-before-seen moments from Katy’s conceptualization of the live stream idea to her reaction to the entire experience once the plug was pulled. Perry’s 96-hour live stream leading up to the release of Witness featured the Pop star hanging out with fans, celebrities and her dog while discussing her life, politics and much more. Walk the Moon will release their new album What If Nothing on November 10, the follow-up to 2014’s Talking is Hard, which brought us the smash hit “Shut Up and Dance.” The band has announced a North American tour for early 2018, beginning in Washington, D.C. on January 12 and running up to February 24 in Minneapolis.
