At the Washington, D.C. stop of her Witness: The Tour, RIAA Chairman/CEO Cary Sherman presented Katy Perry with three Diamond Awards for her hit songs “Roar,” “Dark Horse” and “Firework,” representing 10 million or more sales and streams of each individual song in the United States. With these milestone certifications, Katy recently made Gold & Platinum history as the first artist to earn three RIAA Diamond Song Awards. Steve Barnett, Chairman/CEO of Capitol Music Group, joined Sherman and Bradford Cobb from Direct Management Group in presenting the prestigious awards to Katy.

The legendary Robert Plant has announced the first leg of his world tour in support of his new album Carry Fire. The former Led Zeppelin frontman will start his tour in Raleigh, NC on February 9, 2018 with dates announced up to March 2 in Los Angeles, though more shows will be added soon. Carry Fire is out October 13 via Nonesuch/Warner Bros.

Judah & the Lion have added another leg to their extensive “The Going to Mars” tour, with more dates coming in 2018. The band’s newest leg of touring begins on February 3 in Oklahoma City and runs up to April 20 in Atlanta. Judah & the Lion are currently on tour and will be on the road up to October 29 in Houston.

Former Oasis member Noel Gallagher will release his newest album under the Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds moniker with Who Built the Moon?, out November 24. Gallagher will hit the road on a world tour in 2018, with a North American trek beginning on February 9 in Detroit and wrapping in Los Angeles on March 12. He’ll tour England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland in April and May.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs will release a deluxe edition of their debut album Fever to Tell on October 20. The album will be out on vinyl on its own but also come out in a limited deluxe box set, limited to only 2,000 copies. It is autographed and includes Fever to Tell on vinyl, with a bonus LP of unreleased demos, b-sides and rarities, as well as posters, a hardbound book, a USB drive with all the songs digitally and much more. The trio will play two shows to celebrate, in Los Angeles on October 25 and in Brooklyn on November 7.
