DJ Khaled is atop the Billboard 200 for the second week in a row with Grateful. Calvin Harris debuts at #2 with his star-studded new release Funk Wav Bounces Vol 1. At #3 is DAMN. from Kendrick Lamar, with Imagine Dragons at #4 and Ed Sheeran at #5. 2 Chainz lands at #6, followed by Bruno Mars at #7. The second top 10 debut comes from veteran rockers Stone Sour with Hydrograd at #8, their fifth top ten release. Drake‘s More Life is at #9 with the Moana soundtrack at #10.
Ozzfest meets Knotfest once again as the two Hard Rock festivals unite once more this November. The events take place Saturday, November 4 (Ozzfest) and Sunday, November 5 (Knotfest) at Glen Helen Amphitheater And Festival Grounds in San Bernardino, CA. Ozzfest will be headlined by Ozzy Osbourne, of course, and also feature performances from Prophets of Rage, Deftones and many others. Knotfest is led by Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson and Stone Sour. Notably, Slipknot isn’t a part of Knotfest, but in a statement, Corey Taylor says, “Knotfest was never supposed to be exclusively about Slipknot. It was always about the things that fueled the spirit of Slipknot: music, art, passion, insanity, and the tribes that give it power. So it would make sense for Knotfest to carry on these ideas, even without Slipknot. Because these things are the gasoline of creativity, and there’s plenty to go around, with plenty of great bands, acts and
things to see.”
Former One Direction member Niall Horan will hit the road on a world tour, dubbed the Flicker Sessions 2017. After a handful of shows throughout the globe the summer, his North American tour kicks off in Philadelphia on October 29. The trek wraps up November 22 in San Francisco.
Tori Amos will release her 15th studio album Native Invader on September 8 and has now set a North American tour for this fall in support of the record. Following a European tour in September and October, Amos will begin her North American dates in St. Paul, MN on October 24. The trek includes a two-night stand in New York City on November 7 and 8 and wraps with three nights on Los Angeles on December 1-3.
