If you could relocate to any market in the country, which would you choose and why?

Toby Knapp, WIHT: I’m where I want to be. It’s where life brought me. Sometimes I wonder about the view from the Top of the Empire State Building, but… life happens as it’s supposed to happen. Although it might be fun to do this radio thing in the US Virgin Islands… or Cuba.

Rod Phillips, iHeartMedia: Colorado Springs is simply one of the coolest towns in America, and I could run/walk/climb the Incline every day! Oh…and a solid radio market too.

Java Joel, WAKS: I’ve grown to really love Cleveland, but Philly would be fun. And Toronto and Montreal would get me closer to my family in upstate NY. All really great markets with amazing histories.

Chris K, KUDL: I’m perfectly happy right where I am!

KobeKobe, WWHT: Pittsburgh, best city in the world, I fell in love with it during my time there.
Fish Boy, WKRZ: I’d love to program in Philly!
Big Rob, KSME: Denver is HOME. It’s where I started and where I’ve lived my whole life. Would love to get out to CA too. I love Disney!

Randi WestRandi West, WMTX: Well does it really get better than Tampa? Uh no. But I do love Nashville and it’s a music town, so I’d say there plus I’m a Midwesterner thru and thru.

Kobi, WNRW/WLGX: California or the North West would be DOPE! A nice market in Florida is always a good because my wife is from FL and I LOVE it there.

Kevin KashKevin Kash, WWEG: Major markets interest me with some beach towns thrown in. I enjoy the big cities and the excitement they bring.

Mike “OD” O’Donnell, WKRZ: Boston! I grew up in Boston and I would love to end my career there programming the mighty KISS!

Rob Roberts, WRQX: Assuming I’m independently wealthy, Albuquerque is the spot. Skiing, biking, hiking. Great place to live and amazing food. (BTW, I am not independently wealthy!)

R Dub! Z90: Miami has always been a dream market for me. I love the radio stations there, plus the culture, food, and the ladies ain’t bad!

Gina Gray, WERO: Key West or Hawaii. Nuff said.

ReidReid, KZZP: Stay right here in Phoenix. 8 months of perfect weather with temperatures in the 70s. Can’t beat that!

Reed Phillips, Sun Media-Paducah, KY: Any market can be home, but Kansas City and Nashville are special to me. I grew up on KC radio, had my internships there, started my dream career there. To go home to KC and have the ability to work alongside some of the best in the country would mean a LOT. Since moving to the South 11+ years ago, Nashville has become a second home. Love going to #Preds games, and the vibe of the city, in my mind, is 2nd only to KC.

Mark Adams, KYLD/KIOI: Gosh, that’s difficult to pin down. How to decide? I mean, there’s the 15,000 stall Chatuchak market in the Thai capital of Bangkok that features a dizzying array of antiques, clothing, and housewares. Then there’s The Grand Bazaar, Turkey’s largest open air market, open Monday through Saturday, in historic Istanbul. Like I always say, why let authoritarian repression and the suspension of civil liberties stand between you and a great deal? Or, there’s the sprawling and chaotic Friday market (or Souk el Gomaa) happening every Friday underneath the Al-Tonssy flyover, just south of the Citadel between the City of the Dead and Khalifa in Cairo. Pro-tip: don’t tell anyone you’re an American. And what about he Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo? I mean, it’s the world’s largest open air fish market. What’s not to love? Go for the tuna auction at dawn, then stay for the Fugu, Oden, and Nabemono.
