Bob Cooney

Beasley Media Group has announced Bob Cooney has joined Anthony Gargano as co-host of sports WPEN (97.5 FM The Fanatic) Morning Show. Cooney had been filling in on The Fanatic for several months. He officially began his new position on Monday, September 11th.

“We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Bob as the new co-host of the Fanatic Morning Show,” said Vice President and Market Manager Joe Bell. “He is no stranger to Philly sports. His reputation is incredible. Bob and Anthony are the perfect team to serve as the official voice of the Philly sports fan!”

“I’m really looking forward to joining the 97.5 The Fanatic Morning Show with Anthony Gargano and talking with the great fans of Philadelphia every day,” said Cooney. “The knowledge and opinions of the fans in this area are rivaled by no other fan base in the country.”

In addition to his morning co-hosting duties, Cooney will be extremely involved in the station’s expanded Sixers coverage.
