Lady Gaga has announced that her anticipated new album Chromatica has been delayed due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. Gaga released a statement online today saying that Chromatica will arrive later in 2020 at a date to be determined.

Her next run of Las Vegas residency dates, slated for April 30 – May 11, have also been postponed. However, her summer Chromatica Ball tour dates are still on. Additionally, Gaga revealed she was going to play a surprise set at Coachella, which has been postponed until October.

Gaga writes, “This is such a hectic and scary time for all of us, and while I believe art is one of the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other during times like this, it just doesn’t feel right to me to release this album with all that is going on during this global pandemic.
